There are few days left before she arrives. She, the Supreme Being Goddess Durga. We portray her as our daughter,our mother. This is the time of the year when Devi Durga comes down to earth,to her mother’s house just for 5 days with her children. On the other hand, she’s shown holding different weapons in each of her 10 arms,riding a lion and killing the evil Mahisashura. For the same fact, every woman is Devi to me. How magically they manage both their home and work. And,just like Devi Shakti, she can take on a warrior role whenever it comes to fight for her family,children. Actually every woman is a hero on her own unfolding life story. So, this pujo let us celebrate womanhood, let us bring the inner ‘shakti’ in us to brighten up our paths.

Coming to my outfit : Featuring this hand-loom silk saree with maroon border. This has a running blouse piece with it. But,tried to look classic yet trendy. So, I bought this maroon blouse piece separately and got it tailored. If you notice the pattern,you’ll get to see a bow on it’s back. This is the key feature you can add to your outfit. I accessorized the look with silver neck piece, jhumka ( ear ring ) and nose pin.
